Aida
Aida Miri is the owner and lead photographer at Sparkle and Light.
She created Sparkle and Light event photography as a sister brand to her thriving fine art studio, Aida Miri Photography, specializing in Maternity, Newborns and Kids photography.
Her goal has always been to create memorable images for families. She is passionate about working with babies and children and has dedicated her career to providing families with the best service and the highest quality of imagery and photography products.
Since her graduation from the photography program at Emily Carr University she has worked in many genres of photography. Her background in Fashion photography gives her the ability to create magazine quality images. However, her true passion lies with newborn and kids photography. She loves bringing joy to families through her art and witnessing the smile on their faces and the sparkle in their eyes.
Nicole
Nicole is the specialized event photographer at Sparkle and Light.
She loves combining her passion for photography with her natural knack for working with kids by photographing children's events. Being part of a family's special day never fails to bring a smile to her face. She prides herself on being a detail-oriented photographer who brings a sense of storytelling to her images.
Nicole was raised in the United States. Before moving to Vancouver she also lived and worked in Seoul Korea. She loves the multiculturalism of Canada and is always excited to photograph events that are outside her own cultural tradition.
Besides photography, she also enjoys writing, running, swimming, wading in streams, and climbing trees. She holds a Bachelors of Science in Electronic Arts from Missouri State University.
